2009/2010
THE 2009/2010 STARTUP SEASON FOR NEW SHOOTERS WAS COMPLEATED A WEEK BEFOR CHRISTMAS. THE PROGRAM HAS 15 NEW BOYS AND AND GIRLS COMPLETING THE DAISY 10 LESSON .
JAN 12 ,2010 WILL BE STARTUP OF THE EXTENDED PROGRAM FOR NEW AND RETURN SHOOTERS. NOT KNOW TILL FIRST NIGHT HOW MANY ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND IN THE 2010 SEASON . WE ARE EXPECTING A LARGE GROUP 30 TO 37 SHOOTERS.

New award for the 2008 season

This award was the brain child of coach
Howrd because (although it has happened before)
shooters Grace Davey and Olivia Bateman on
seperate ranges on the same night had a fly
land on there target.
So they would not get a low score on that bull
they waited till the fly moved onto the 9/10 ring
and then they were allowed to shoot at it , being
the good shot that they are the flies did not survive.

The record score for our program was set in 1991 by Chris Hedger with a 480 of 500 points.That record held till 1999 when Wes Dow scored 481. In 2000 things heated up. Wes Dow broke his own record twice with 482 and a 484, then along came the girl(Krissey Bahsen) and scored a 485. Not wanting to be wupped by a girl Wes Dow came back with a 487. While all this was going on, in the shadows lurking was Wes Dow's younger brother Robert Dow and in 2001 Robert set a record of 488 THAT SCORE WAS BROKEN EARLY IN THE 2005 SEASON BY JAKE ADAMS WITH A 489.

Because of a change in targets all National Records were reestablished in 2006 ( ? ) . To conform with this our program established a new club record at 485. That record lasted for 3 years, till practice night of 3/10/2009 ,when Chantel Obrist with a 100 on the test and very respective scores in the 4 different positions not only shot high score for return shooters for the evening but broke the previous record by one point , setting a new club record at 486 out of 500.
Good job Chantel!! Now you have to brake your own record by a bunch so it will stand for many years to come.
